We have been excited to be able to offer a Puppy Socialization Class since 2004! Our instructors have been in contact with doctors and staff at Purdue and Penn to design our program. This class will help with socialization and give you, the owner, some basic obedience training skills. As long as they do their homework, the students even graduate!
Advantages to attending our Puppy Pre-school Socialization Safety and Prevention Training:
Our instructors include Veterinary Technicians, one of which is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer, that have experience with socializing pets and educating clients on behavior modification on a daily basis. Bringing your puppy to our class gives us the opportunity to better acquaint our staff to both your pet and your family. If your puppy knows us, it will have more enjoyable visits to the Vet! It is very important that the same handler attends each class, but we do invite other family members and/or friends to come and participate in training.
The more people who participate in puppy training and socialization, the easier handling your puppy will be.
Children of all ages are invited and encouraged to come; they are an important part of the family and should learn how to care and handle the new puppy appropriately!
